When You Make Space, Magic Finds You

Hello there,

When you read this, I’ll be on holiday.

Yes, actual holiday.

No deadlines, no content, no “just one more thing.”

Hooray.

And while I’m incredibly ready to rest (hello, sleep and long conversations and espresso without email), this time off isn’t just about recovery.

It’s about space.

Because here’s what I’ve learned:

When your calendar is too full, your ideas can’t breathe.

When your brain is constantly consuming, it stops imagining.

When everything is optimized, inspiration can’t sneak in.

Real creativity?

It doesn’t show up when you’re forcing it.

It arrives when you leave the door open. It shows up in the quiet.

In the walks without podcasts.

In the chats that aren’t for content.

In the long, boring stretches where your brain gets to wander.

So that’s my plan:

To make space.

To read things I don’t “need.”

To maybe finish the sock I am knitting.

To pay attention to what I actually miss when I’m off.

To let ideas find me instead of chasing them down.

Because as much as I love the work I do, I’m not a machine.

And neither are you.

Your mind needs room.

Your soul needs space.

And your next big thing?

It’s probably waiting in the quiet.

Thanks for reading 🖤,

Aitana

P.S. What’s one thing you want to make space for this season, just because you love it?

Send me an email hello@aitanaforcen.com.

I want to hear.
